TODAY WE ARE HIGHLIGHTING: Marvine Fluker

Marvine Fluker originally started with Swope Ridge Geriatric Center (SRGC) as a member of our Nursing Team in 1998 and quickly showed a strong skillset and passion for caring for our residents. Fast forward to today and Marvine has recently joined the SRGC family again, but this time, as our Assistant Director of Nursing!

With 20+ years of nursing experience, Marvine continues to show us how much of an asset she is to the Swope Ridge team, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

When Marvine is not busy saving lives, she enjoys shopping, spending time with loved ones, and unwinding at home. When asked what she likes most about working at SRGC Marvine stated: “I enjoy how the organization cares for the residents…, if a resident still needs therapy but does not have the funds to cover it, Swope Ridge will go out of their way to cover the costs.” Marvine also stated that she enjoys being able to work with people within her community!
